Thumpmonkey Mobile was concieved after my fustration of trying to surf the net for sites that were compatible with my Handspring Treo and it's Blazer browser. Since Blazer cannot read Javascript, I would have to say a prayer while I waited for a page to download only to find that it used Javascript. All the Portals out there were mainly for the Wireless Web (WML) and while informing, left my Treo underachieving and me unsatisfied. I set out to collect sites that were written in HTML and utilized Treo's ability to surf the web; the real web. Now all this was before I was introduced to AvantGo. Which someone should have told me earlier and pretty much makes this portal obsolete. But it was an interesting project designing and coding super optimized sites for a 160 x 160 screen. And if this site can help one person other than me I will have all been worth it. So give me a reply so that I know all my work was not in vein.
